Before blogging was blogging, twitter was evil and Instagram was a twinkle in Kevin Systrom's eye, I created
Geekheartsaday - a year long daily art project for 2011 on wordpress.
It was a journey that taught me things and took me places. It opened up a world of new opportunities and connections. By April 2011, I had another human start her own daily blog, creating hearts, and received 100's of 'heart-art-donations' from around the world. To this day, I am still sent hearts!
To celebrate the 10 year anniversary I am going to create a heart a day for the summer and am asking you to join in!

24hr AWARENESS PROJECT

There is so much focus around being kind to ourselves - a mindfulness wave of mental health awareness is sweeping the world as a direct result of this #pandemic and the line between suicide vs. suicidal is still a blurry one.
On the 29th February I completed my project to create 29 versions of this message within 24 hours to raise awareness of suicidal awareness and mental health / well-being. Others donated the message in their own styles too by tagging me and #loveontheinside
I have been creating this message for years but feel like I have now found it’s purpose. I hope it helps someone somewhere. I've had my own life experiences with these topics and want to use them positively to help others.
